Microsoft Cloud Specialist

Job Summary:

We’re looking for a Microsoft Cloud Specialist to own, evolve, and secure our Microsoft cloud stack—including Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, Teams, Entra ID/Azure AD, Intune, and
Azure. You’ll play a key role in enabling the business to unlock real value from Copilot for Microsoft 365. This role blends architecture, administration, and hands-on delivery with training and adoption.

Key Responsibilities:

Build & Operate

  • Entra ID / Azure AD: Design and manage SSO, MFA, Conditional Access, identity lifecycle, RBAC, app registrations, and B2B/B2C integrations.
  • Microsoft 365 Core: Administer Exchange Online, OneDrive, Teams, and SharePoint Online (site architecture, permissions, hub sites, retention, search, and migration).
  • Endpoint & Intune: Standardize Windows 11 fleet management (Autopilot, compliance, app packaging, update rings, hardening baselines).\
  • Azure (IaaS & PaaS): Manage subscriptions, cost governance, vNets, storage, compute, monitoring/alerts; automate with PowerShell.

 

Enable & Govern

  • Copilot Enablement: Prepare data and permissions, establish policies, pilot adoption, and run enablement sessions for business units.
  • User Enablement: Create how-to guides, host lunch-and-learns, and champion adoption across departments using Microsoft’s adoption framework.
  • Security Collaboration: Partner with cybersecurity specialists and application owners to ensure proactive security and promote efficiencies.

 

Skills, Abilities and Experience:

  • 3–6+ years administering Microsoft 365 and Entra ID, including Conditional Access and identity lifecycle.
  • Hands-on experience with SharePoint Online architecture, permissions, and migration.
  • Proven Intune device management at scale (enrollment, compliance, Win32 packaging).
  • Real-world experience enabling Copilot for M365 or similar AI productivity tools.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for user/app/SharePoint/Graph tasks.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and propose practical, scalable solutions.
  • Works effectively across teams and departments, fostering trust and shared ownership.
  • Comfortable navigating change, learning new technologies, and adjusting to evolving business needs.
  • Understands internal stakeholder needs and delivers solutions that drive real business value.
  • Proactively identifies opportunities for improvement and takes ownership of outcomes.
  • Balances multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

 

Ideal candidates will also have the following:

  • Experience with Azure networking, storage, VMs, cost management, and tagging policies.
  • Familiarity with Purview records management and eDiscovery.
  • Exposure to Graph API automation, Teams Phone, and Power Platform (Power Automate).
