Algoma Conveyor
The Algoma Conveyor joined the fleet early in the 2019 season. Like her sister ships in the Algoma Equinox Class, the 740′ Self-Unloader was designed to maximize cargo carrying capacity with industry-leading features including advanced propulsion and power systems that are more fuel efficient with a reduced environmental footprint. The Algoma Conveyor has a maximum cargo deadweight of 36,800 MT or 28,200 MT at Seaway draft, carried in 5 holds, and has the ability to discharge cargo at a rate up to 5,400 MT per hour. The Conveyor is currently trading in all areas of the Great Lakes with cargoes of aggregate, grain, salt and iron ore commodities.
